Prospective graduate students
If you are a hard-working, creative individual who shares our team’s interests in ecology, conservation, and sustainability science, I welcome you to consider pursuing an MS or PhD degree in the Hall Lab.
- Expectations for Graduate Students in the Hall Lab
- Lessons for Aspiring STEM Graduate Students (P. Marquez-Zacarias, Sci. American, 2020)
- On Being a Successful Graduate Student (borrowed from the John Thompson lab).
Check out the two documents above to learn about the Hall Lab culture and expectations, and how to be most successful in my research group in your pursuit of a graduate degree.
Below are the ASU Graduate Programs with which I am affiliated. If you are my graduate advisee, you will be eligible for financial support as an RA (research assistant) or TA (teaching assistant) through the School of Life Sciences.
- Environmental Life Sciences Ph.D. Program:
ELS is a transdisciplinary PhD program that will train you to become a broad thinker in ecology and conservation. - Biology M.S. Program:

If you are interested in joining the lab, please email me.
